PLAY DOUGH

Families will be assigned to make play dough throughout the year. Each batch lasts for approximately 10 days.

Recipe

  • 6 cups flour
  • 1/4 cup cream of tartar
  • 3 cups of salt
  • 6 cups water
  • 2 - 4 teaspoons food coloring (optional)
  • 3/4 cup vegetable oil
Place dry ingredients into a saucepan and mix to combine. Add wet ingredients and mix again. Cook over medium heat until mixture looks dry. Remove from pan and knead until it no longer sticks to your hands and countertop. Store in larger zip-lock bag.
