A little snack info…At the moment every family is required to bring a snack to school once a month, last year it was once every three months and two years ago the school supplied snack completely. For the last three years snack has been overseen by the nutritional chair. This upcoming year snack will be handled by a committee under the new board position, Programs Chair. As most of you know there is a tabled proposal to require all snacks to be organic. The environmental committee is meeting monthly producing a monthly nutrition education newsletter and brainstorming how to make snack easier and acceptable for everyone.
