What’s in a name? The Silverspot Co-operative Nursery School takes its name from the Callippe Silverspot butterfly. Historically, this butterfly inhabited grasslands over much of the Bay Area region but there are only two remaining populations left, one on San Bruno Mountain in Brisbane.
Silverspot is a member of the CCPNS California Council of Parent Participation Nursery Schools.
